School Improvement

At Forward As One, we work together to deliver the highest standards of learning and teaching, an engaging curriculum for all children, and inspiring environments in which children and adults alike can flourish. We work in close partnership with our parents, communities and parishes because we know how important it is to work together as we strive to achieve our One Mission.

We also believe that great learning stems directly from great teaching and great leadership. Our staff receive the highest standards of training and can learn from and work with experts in their fields. We invest a lot of time and energy in recruiting and training the very best staff because our children deserve no less.

As the trust continues to evolve, we will make sure that we deepen our commitment to providing and sustaining the very best educational experience possible for all our children. By working together – as schools, staff, communities and parishes – we can achieve so much for our whole school communities.

As a Multi-Academy-Trust we have a range of schools with individual contexts and needs. The design of our school improvement offer has a tiered approach, with six levels of support for schools depending on their individual needs.

All schools receive a Forward As One ‘Welcome’, which has been developed to immerse schools within the One Family, One Team, One Mission vison and values prior to formally joining the Trust.

All schools receive a substantive core offer of support however for schools with additional vulnerability there are extra layers of support identified for each stage on the development journey. We know our schools so well that we support schools proactively. Within the Trust there are a range of expert practioners who work with our schools and help build further capacity across the Trust.
